A simple skincare routine for men.

Follow our 3 top tips for a quick and easy skincare routine that will have a big impact.

If you’ve been avoiding or missing out on skincare, it’s time to change. It doesn't need to be complicated or expensive to repair, protect, or pamper your skin. Our tips provide the most basic adjustments for long-lasting results. Learn how to combat breakouts, shaving irritations, and those fine lines that’ll appear out of nowhere.

Here’s how to get started.

1. Clean

One thing men often get right is that simplicity is key and not washing their face every single morning. Washing too much can damage your skin’s natural oils.

This only works if you commit to washing your face every night. It's important to start each day with a fresh slate and end your day with a clean face. By washing your face at the end of the day, you wash away dirt and pollution preventing it from soaking into your pores overnight.

Use a gentle soap such as our award winning Begin No 1 Body Wash. SLS and paraben free meaning it's gentle on the skin and won't strip the skin of oils. With added Aloe Vera Juice, it's also hydrating.

Top tip: If you have oily skin, use a hot cloth or our reusable face pads to cleanse your face in the morning. Finish with a splash of cold water to help wake you up.

2. Repair

Over time, our skin becomes damaged thanks to free radicals causing oxidative stress. This is our bodies’ negative reaction to air pollution, cigarette smoke, chemicals, toxins and UV rays.

Our Nude No 0 Face Oil with added Vitamin E, Squalane and Green Tea extract helps to fight these free radicals and repair the skin. Rich in Vitamin A, B, D and E as well as amino acids, essential fatty acids, phosphorus, calcium, iron, manganese and magnesium, our Face oil uses cold pressed Camellia Seed oil that has been used in Japan for centuries to moisturise and condition the skin.

This ultra rich oil is an easily absorbed, delightful treasure to rejuvenate the skin.

Apply a pea sized amount after your shaving routine.

3. Moisturise and protect

In the morning follow up your face oil with a moisturiser and SPF 30. Sunscreen isn’t just for the beach or outdoor sports.

At night, opt for a lightweight moisturiser without sunscreen.

Top tip: You don’t have to moisturise at night if your skin isn’t dry! Just like drinking water, do it when you need it.
